The ryokan has indoor and rooftop hot spring baths with water from a direct spring source. Guests can reserve the rooftop bath for a 3300 yen fee per 45-minute session. The public onsen rotates by gender in the morning and afternoon, giving access to both indoor and open-air baths.

Dining

The on-site Fukuryu-an restaurant serves traditional Japanese meals prepared with organic vegetables and fresh seafood. Dinner and breakfast are served as kaiseki multi-course meals in a dedicated dining area. Vegetarian and vegan options are available when requested before arrival.

Masutomi Ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Train Station, with a bus stop even closer. The ryokan sits along a river in a less crowded area away from the main street, a 25-minute drive from O-wakudani and Lake Ashi's Sightseeing Cruise Pier. Guests can easily access the Hakone Open-Air Museum and other sightseeing spots via train or bus.
